でも、Yetiって言ったら、やっぱ、やっぱ、これだよね＾＾



'90年代、YetiはMTBの最高峰でした(車で言えばポルシェ＾＾)
FRO、ULTIMATE、そしてARC、、、特にARC欲しかったんだよね
でも、高いのと、あのターコイズブルー、目立って
なんか下手な人が乗るの、、、ちょっと、恥ずかしくて買えなかった＾＾
でもでも、今ならYetiなんて知ってる人、そんな居ないだろうし、
何より、安い
このフレーム10万だって、、、当時は40万以上してた
いや、欲しいな〜ぁ U＾ェ＾U





脈絡説明
で、なんで今日Yetiの話かと言うと、、
先日、何気に「さくら」のサーバーのアクセスログ見ていたら
ユーザエージェントのトップに「Yeti」と言うのがあった
(「さくら」はサーバー側が勝手に解析ソフトを仕込んでいる)
ユーザエージェントって、つまりどんなブラウザで見に来てるかって事で
ほんとはそんな関係ないんですが、、、でも、Yetiって？、そんなブラウザあったかな〜ぁ？
と、調べてみたら、ブラウザで無く検索用ロボットでした
それも、韓国の ＾＾
いや〜ぁ、韓国話題にした記事なんか書いてないよ、みんな日本語だし
あっ、それとも最近韓国も登山ブームらしいので、武尊の情報でも調べに来たのかな？
それにしても、トップが韓国からの検索サイトだなんて、、、淋しい
思わず、来ないように robots.txt 貼っちゃった

気を取り直して、我が家のYeti、、、
今日もまだ疲れが取れないのか、寝てばかりのアニポン

ご無沙汰しております。
Yeti、2年前まで乗っていましたね。
もっとも、JSさんが憧れていたかっこいい頃のYetiではなくシュインが吸収したなんちゃってYetiのARC、しかもターコイズではなく黄色と黒のタイガースカラーです。

こちらも例に漏れず安かったのでブランドで選んだわけじゃないのですが、いかにもアメリカンな作りでディスクブレーキをつければ台座が歪んでて(^-^; そのままだとディスクブレーキのローターでフレームを輪切りにするようなお茶目君でした。値段で選んだからサイズも小さくて、軽そうに見えて重たいフレームでしたし、、、

それでも見る人が見れば腐ってもYeti、レースなんかでは良い自転車乗っているねえ（＾＾）と声かけられることもあり鼻高々でとてもお気に入りでした。

あまりにサイズが小さく、その後は結婚祝いの贈り物として余生を送っていますが、もう一度乗りたいですねぇ。

同じデザインのYeti ARCでチタンフレームがあるんです。
ひそかに海外通販サイトをチェックしている今日この頃です。

そう、Yetiがまだコロラドに居る頃、ブレーキなんてカンチの時代
ARCのチタンモデルも出てました
値段はアルミモデルとそんなに変わらなかったような？
でも、なにしろ高かった
高いから、、、尚更欲しかったって言うのもあるんですが
結局、Yetiあきらめて、Raizin号作った
でも、実は値段的にはRaizin号もそんなに変わらないくらい掛かった
今は、物置でひっそり、、いつか、また、出番を待ってます ＾＾

アルティメイトとかFROとかかっこいいですよね～
名前がレース以外不可ですしエレベーテッドチェーンステイとかしびれます(^^)

当時のかっこいいのがオークションに出ると？？？な理解不能な金額が付けられていたりしますし皆さん思い入れがあるのでしょう。

今のイエティもその頃の残り香がありまして、チェーンステイがバックステイと一本のパイプを曲げて作られていたり、ブレーキワイヤーとシフトワイヤーがまとめてついていたりします。性能には何も影響なしですが。

まあ、所詮は趣味のモノ、新しい古い、高い安い、性能の良し悪しに関わらず気に入ったモノが一番素晴らしいモノと思ってます。

思わずうちもオークション出そうかと思っちゃったもん
